About Me

I am starting my career in the Gaming Industry. I created this website to try and show some of the work I have been doing over the past 4 years. I will be showing off work that I have done in Unreal Engine and Photoshop. Gaming is a passion for me, and I have put many hours towards it in the past 10 years. I plan on taking what I have seen and played in the gaming industry over these past 10 years and use it to influence my career and game development decisions.

What I have been working on

As of now, I know the basics of Unreal Engine 5, Maya, Mudbox, and Photoshop. I will be showing off work that I have done in Unreal Engine and Photoshop. These are all software that I have used through SNHU and CG Spectrum. I have done 3D modeling, animation, and sculpting with Maya and Mudbox. I plan on learning Blender after school since it is free software, unlike Maya. In Unreal Engine I have learned environment design, different blueprints, and level design. I also have been working on different environment designs over the past couple of months.

I also have been working on concept art over the past couple of months. I have been practicing not only my concept art but my art in general. I just started learning about how to draw concept art and plan on practicing over the years.

In my free time, I have been working on a list of concepts, the list consists of ideas and concepts for video games. The whole PDF is based on survival games as I feel I have the most experience with this genre. I also feel if I base all my ideas around one game it will help me flesh them out more. The concepts in this PDF go from items and equipment to in-game events. Most of the stuff in the PDF is ideas that I feel could fit well into different games. The idea of this is to get ideas and concepts down. As of February 2024, I have 46 pages on this document. Most of the pages have concepts and ideas. An example from this PDF is different biomes that I have thought of. I will l use these concepts to help me get ideas to draw for digital art.

Gaming Experience

My gaming experience started on the Game Cube. A couple of years after we got the Game Cube I split a Xbox 360 with my brother. Where we would play Halo, Black Ops 2 and Minecraft. I would stay on the Xbox console for 2 more generations where I got the Xbox One and than the Xbox series X. I would play games such as Ark Survival Evolved and Rainbow Six Siege. I would eventually get a PC in late 2021. From there I would play games such as Rust, Counter Stike, and Team Fortress 2. I am a big fan of survival games as you can see I have over 5,000 hours on Ark and Rust alone. I hope I can use my knowledge of gaming to not only help with development of games but also help make quality games.
